This competency normally applies to the individual who is required to control military teams involved in military explosive ordnance operations.
The individual is required to plan the explosive ordnance task, apply the appropriate occupational health and safety (OH&S) requirements and safety precautions, identify requirements and resources, and control the performance of the task.
Military explosive ordnance tasks are normally conducted on operations, they can however be conducted in peacekeeping, in support of the civilian community/ authority and also in training.
This unit covers the competency required to control military teams involved in military explosive ordnance operations.
